Porsche Design Unveils the Roadster Aluminum Trolley in Black and Introduces New Personalization Options

Porsche Design expands its successful aluminum trolley series with the new Black colorway, now available alongside Silver. Complementing this extension of the color palette, Porsche Design is introducing a comprehensive range of personalization options for the first time: components – including leather handles, leather tag, and wheels – can be individually configured. This allows customers to transform the trolley into an even more distinct expression of their personal statement.

With the introduction of the new Black colorway, Porsche Design consistently evolves the Roadster Aluminum series, adding a further model to the collection. Its reduced design language and clean lines follow Porsche Design’s signature philosophy. The result is a synthesis of innovation and heritage that defines the Roadster Aluminum. The Roadster Aluminum remains true to its origins: as a tribute to the iconic Porsche 911 Targa, it echoes the design language of the so-called safety cabriolet, whose brushed aluminum roll bar set new standards in 1965 and continues to shape the unmistakable identity of the Porsche brand to this day. The principles of protection, stability, and precision are reflected both in the material and in the clear, reduced construction. Inspired by automotive body manufacturing, the front and back panels of the trolley are stamped and then mounted onto a stabilizing frame. This process results in a clean, contemporary design – free from visible rivets or traditional corner joints.

Precision Design Meets Uncompromising Functionality

The functional features that define the Roadster Aluminum as a premium and reliable travel companion remain unchanged. The multi-stage telescopic handle can be individually adjusted and retracts flush into the body. An integrated TSA lock is factory-set to the combination 911 – a symbolic detail for Porsche enthusiasts. Inside, a main compartment with a divider, cross straps, and a packing plate ensures optimal organization. An integrated foldable bag provides additional storage space when needed.

Personal Accents in the Signature of Porsche Design

For the first time, Porsche Design offers personalization options for the Roadster Aluminum trolleys in both colorways. Three components enable a consistently individual configuration: premium genuine leather handles, a customizable leather name tag, and wheels. Each element is available in six color options – Black, Dark Blue, Silver, Grey, Carmine Red, and Cognac. Inspired by original Porsche colors, the selection allows for both subtle accents and deliberately contrasting configurations.
The handles, crafted from premium genuine leather, are available as a set for both the top and side carry positions, combining exceptional tactile comfort with artisanal precision. Visible stitching and subtle padding ensure a refined handling experience while underscoring the product’s elevated aesthetic. Personalization is further enhanced by a detachable name tag made from genuine leather. The leather tag can be attached to one of the handles and features an address field in case of loss. Optional personalization through embossed initials is available in Porsche Design stores. The wheels, too, follow a functional design ethos while offering various configuration options. The set of four high-quality double wheels, equipped with precisely engineered ball bearings, is designed for maximum smoothness and performance, with a design inspired by the Porsche Carrera Classic wheel. All personalization elements are available separately and can be freely combined.

The Roadster Aluminum Trolley in Black will be available from now on in sizes S, M, and L via porsche.com, at Porsche Design Stores worldwide, and at selected Porsche Centers. The trolley series will also be available through brics.it as well as in BRIC’S Stores worldwide.
The leather name tag is available for €45. The wheel set is offered in two sizes: Size S (€59 / set of four) for cabin luggage, and Size M/L (€69 / set of four) for checked luggage.
