In December 2021, Porsche Design will officially unveil the wireless PDT60 in-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. This new product offers a thrilling audio experience – whenever and wherever. The impressive PDT60 earphones offer the characteristically minimalist Porsche design DNA while boasting exceptional quality, from design through to technology.

Porsche Design DNA: a combination of unparalleled functionality and elegance

The latest product from Porsche Design’s sound category combines minimalist aesthetics with maximum functionality. The housing of the PDT60 is made from a lightweight, satin-finish aluminum alloy. The in-ear headphones come with an ergonomically optimized design that – thanks to silicone earbuds in a choice of three sizes – fits perfectly with different ears to offer an exhilarating audio experience and extraordinary comfort.

All technical details have been organically incorporated into the design. These not only include the microphones, but also the built-in Porsche Design PD icon, which acts as a touch sensor for operating the earphones’ various features.

Innovative technology for an optimum audio experience

Active noise cancellation (ANC) eliminates background noises in such a way that the listener is not disturbed by any unwanted sounds, thereby ensuring optimum audio quality. The eight-millimetre neodymium speakers deliver a wider sound spectrum, rich dynamics and more nuanced reproduction.

Thanks to the IPX5 water protection rating, the earphones offer optimum protection against environmental influences such as moisture and wind, making them suitable for use during exercise. Bluetooth 5.0 technology enables straightforward and convenient connectivity, not to mention a high transfer rate and a stable transmission signal.

Thanks to its dual-layer design, the PDT60 reflects the signature aesthetics that are so familiar from other Porsche Design audio products. Splitting the total size into two layers enables the in-ear speakers to appear smaller, whereas the basic form of the metal housing has been pared down significantly and incorporated with technical precision in the form of an outer circle. This circular form enables a comfortable and ergonomic in-ear fit and represents a subtle and iconic design statement without feeling like a foreign body.

Precision meets performance

The PDT60 boasts up to five hours of battery life. Thanks to its carrying case with charging function, the new in-ear headphones from Porsche Design can even be used for up to 20 (5+15) hours at a time. They support the wireless Qi charging standard and can also be charged using the USB-C cable included. By virtue of its materials – genuine leather and aluminum – the carrying case is the height of visual and haptic sophistication.

The Porsche Design PDT60 true wireless in-ear headphones will be available from December 2021 in Porsche Design stores, specialist retailers, and online at www.porsche-design.com, as well as from selected online shops, at an RRP of 299 €.
